A dozen buses like this one were built to help lead General Motors' Parade of Progress tours across the country. They were only ever in use for a few years, though. Today, only three of these buses are in fully restored condition like this one. Proceeds from its sale were given to a charity for military members and their families. No buyer's premium was charged.
