They look nothing alike, but the Fiat 500X is actually a fraternal twin of the Jeep Renegade. The two share most of their engineering and both are built by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles(FCAM) on the same Italian assembly line. They also share a fairly firm ride that, while it seems perfectly correct in a Jeep, feels out of place in the car-like 500X. The Fiat's bulbous shape also lends the interior a more sunken-in and less airy feel. Still, it's a fun little machine to take around town.
