China is experiencing something of an alcohol renaissance, with many drinks -- especially wine -- rapidly growing in popularity.
One beneficiary is Moutai, a leading producer of baijiu. While not very popular abroad yet, baijiu has a long history in China. And the clear, sorghum-based liquor is expanding its footprint. But drinker beware -- the liquor is also commonly referred to as "firewater."
