Southeast Asia's biggest economy is one of a number of emerging markets with housing sectors on the rise. Demand from the growing middle class in the country of around 250 million people has spurred prices.

The strong growth has come despite the loss of some foreign investors, who abandoned the country earlier this year on speculation the U.S. Federal Reserve was about to begin winding back its stimulus efforts, sparking a currency crash.
