A JFK airport worker reportedly had a master plan to grab several pallets of fresh-off-the-cargo-plane iPad minis, valued at more than $1 million. He has been accused of successfully lifting the shipment in mid-November as it arrived from China.
One tiny problem: The thief apparently broadcast his larcenous intentions by asking co-workers when the iPads would arrive and where he could find a forklift. Less than a week after the heist went down, federal agents nabbed the alleged perpetrator.
"He could star in 'Dumbfellas,'" the New York post quipped. -- Stacy Cowley
