Apple has a tremendous reputation and sales record in China despite having only a handful of retail outlets in the country.

Yet that hasn't stopped Apple (AAPL)'s expansion in the country, highlighted by last year's landmark deal with China Mobile (CHL), the world's largest carrier by subscribers.
