Vladimir Putin's Russia has barred a lot of things in recent years. Some of the restrictions alarm human rights watchers, while others are more amusing to outside observers.
According to a law passed last year, blogs with more than 3,000 daily visitors -- including those on social media platforms -- are required to register as media outlets and follow regulations set by Russia's media law.
Critics say the law restricts freedom of speech, as it makes opposition bloggers easier targets of prosecution.
