2017 top new grad employers

New grads who start their careers at Unilever have a chance to make a big impact. About 2.5 billion people use the company's products on any given day and 70% of households contain at least one Unilever product, according to the company's website.

The company is trying to get smaller in one area, though, by reducing its environmental footprint. One goal of its Sustainable Living Plan is to cut the company's greenhouse gas impact in half by 2030. The Plan is considered a core part of its business model.

Unilever also pays attention to the future of its management pipeline. Grads hoping to move up fast can enter a three-year rotation program designed to develop future leaders. Women on the rise also have plentiful role models: Women make up 45% of Unilever's management team and half of the company's non-executive board members.

A focus on results and ability to adapt to new situations will impress hiring managers. --A.M.
