Not cut out to work at the mall? Work in an Amazon warehouse instead.
The online retailer plans to hire 70,000 seasonal workers in its 40 fulfillment centers around the country.
That marks a 40% increase from its holiday hiring last year.
"We are looking for employees who want to work hard, have fun and serve customers this holiday season while picking, packing and shipping customer orders," said Amazon spokeswoman Kelly Cheeseman.
Some of the jobs could lead to permanent work. So far in 2013, more than 7,000 temporary Amazon employees have become full-time employees.
The jobs are posted at amazonfulfillmentcareers.com.
