"I woke up, started cooking, and then we we all sat down and ate early to get out for Black Friday," said Collin Cook, with Madison Cook at J.C. Penney. "First we went to Toys "R" Us and spent about $300. We went home for a half hour and then came to J.C. Penney."

She said she was buying women's clothing, gifts for family and maybe half-carat diamond earrings priced at $79.99.
