"I am Greek American. I live in Boston, but come to Greece every year. I see what the austerity measures do to Greece. It's a complete destitution of the Greek people. There is over a million unemployed. Over 300,000 people with a college degree left the country -- to the loss of Greek taxpayers, who paid for their degrees.
Every year I see small businesses closing. If there are no small businesses, where is the government meant to get taxes from? Small businesses are crucial for the economy.
The Greek government is under a lot of pressure from the supposed European allies. We don't need allies like this, these are not good allies.
This is the first government that stands by the people. If we get out of the euro, the cost will be eight times higher for Europe than for Greece."
