Customers can book their flights via Amex and earn $300 to use for inflight meals and drinks or services like a limousine pick-up when they arrive at their destination.

Another unique perk: the card provides emergency evacuation services for cardholders who get injured -- no matter where they are and how difficult it is to get to them. Amex said it has evacuated customers from all over the world -- including far-flung Saudi Arabia and Vietnam -- for emergencies ranging from a heart attack to a fractured bone.
