Forget about the politics and the failing economy for a moment and think about this: Workers in the Russian capital have some of the shortest working hours in the world.
The average employee works 1,647 hours per year and gets 31 days of paid holiday.

Source: UBS "Prices and earnings 2015" report. Average annual working hours were calculated by tallying the number of hours worked per day, and the number of days worked per week. Vacation and legal holiday time were deducted to reach the final figures.
