Beyond creating an organization's regular financial reports, these directors are charged with presenting and explaining them to its executives and board members. The role also involves coordinating with various departments to make sure the bills -- and employees -- are paid on time.
Why it's great: The job requires a combination of both hard and soft skills. "I take pride in creating those financial statements and being able to communicate them to board members who might not necessarily have a financial background," says director of finance and administration Mandy Sentieri.
