There will be three key venues for the royal wedding day: A chapel for the ceremony, a hall for the 600-person afternoon reception and a country house for the 200-person evening reception.
The ceremony and first reception will be on the grounds of Windsor Castle. The evening party will be held at the estate's vast country home, Frogmore House.
These locations form part of the monarchy's numerous royal residences, which means there shouldn't be any upfront venue rental fees.
Even so, London-based luxury wedding planner Aimee Dunne said that staff and logistics considerations for the different venues could add significant costs.
