How much does it cost to buy a four-bedroom, two-bath home in the U.S.? From $2 million-plus in Malibu to $64,000 in Cleveland, here are cities with the biggest extremes, according to Coldwell Banker's annual survey of 1,900 real estate markets.
The wealthiest suburb of Boston, Weston's home prices are far from cheap. A typical four-bedroom can easily cost more than $1.2 million.
But people are willing to pay up for the bucolic landscape -- there's 2,000 acres of protected recreational land with 90 miles of trails and scenic overlooks -- and its close proximity to the city.
This large home is located less than 17 miles from Boston's business district. It features an eat-in kitchen, a formal dining room, a sun room and a porch. Outside, there are flower beds and lawns and a pool.
