Greenwich is one of the most expensive housing markets in the country, with a median home value of $1.38 million, according to Zillow.

There's been some interest in the home, which sits about 45 minutes from New York City, from foreign and local buyers.

"Everyone who sees it is so impressed by it without fail," said Lurie.
