Move over Katy Perry, the Beatrix Girls are making an entrance. These 12-inch pop stars -- Brayen, Ainsley, Lark and Chantal -- play their own instruments and sing original music.

Sherry Gunther, the dolls' inventor, didn't want to create just another doll collection. So the producer behind "The Simpsons" and "Family Guy" created a multi-platform line with dolls, webisodes and music.

The songs, which focus on girls' empowerment are available on Apple's (AAPL) iTunes and Amazon (AMZN). Diehard fans might even be able to see the Beatrix Girls in person: Gunther said they might launch a live concert in 2015 where the dolls appear on stage as holograms and perform their songs.
