Scripps Networks vs. Cablevision
More than 3 million Cablevision (CVC) customers woke up on New Year's Day in 2010 to find out they lost Scripps (SNI) channels such as HGTV and the Food Network. This blackout lasted for about a month, angering fans of the channels' cooking show stars, including Guy Fieri, and home improvement shows.
