No story captured the tech media's attention in 2015 quite like the Apple Watch.
It was the perfect storm of Apple secrecy (we still have no idea how many were sold), luxury (some versions sell for $17,000), and intrigue (what's it like to wear one?). It led to as many "Apple is dead" stories as "Apple will rule the world" headlines.
It also created the best tech media event of 2015, when Rupert Murdoch bumped into the Wall Street Journal's Joanna Stern in a hallway and made off with her Apple Watch. Funny stuff.
