Health insurance rebates by state
Some 12.8 million Americans will receive $1B in rebates from health insurers starting Aug. 1. The rebate each family receives will depend on a variety of factors, including where they live. Alaska residents, for example, will average more than $500 per family, much higher than the nationwide average of $151. Rebates also vary depending on who their insurer is, and if they buy coverage under a small or large employers plan, or on their own.
