Tucked between one of the Houston metro area's most affluent suburbs and one of its major highways is Missouri City.

Many residents choose to spend most of their working and recreational time either in downtown Houston (which is 20 minutes away) or in neighboring Sugar Land. But they live here because of the town's affordable homes and low taxes.

While there aren't many employers right in Missouri City, the town is currently building a business park to lure corporations to the area. --J.S.
