GM's struggling brands: Room for hope

GMC's problem in the current market is obvious. It's a truck brand at a time when nobody wants trucks. Given that, it might be surprising that GMC's market share has dropped only 0.27%.

The Acadia crossover, a close relative of the Buick Enclave, has helped GMC during a tough time. Eventually, trucks will come back, said J.D. Power analyst Tom Libby and GMC will play its part.

"GMC's a brand they should definitely keep," said Libby.
