They don't call her "Dora the Explorer" for nothing. Hsu spends about two-thirds of her time traveling overseas, mostly to Asia and Europe, to work out technological solutions for Google's strategic partnerships. A former engineer, Hsu, 42, made the switch to the business side because she says she "really enjoys looking at the bigger picture." Hsu's Googleplex office is filled with Nickelodeon "Dora the Explorer" paraphernalia given to her by other Googlers - jewelry boxes, Christmas ornaments and even Band-Aids. So what does Hsu do in her spare time? Travel, naturally. Last year she flew to Nepal, where she managed to reach the base camp of Mount Everest.
