Venture capitalist and CNBC regular Paul Kedrosky has a way of pointing out some of the most interesting, relevant stats for business watchers, whether it's the number of IPOs on the Brazilian stock exchange in the last two years (64) or the cost of being an active investor versus a passive one (67 basis points annually from 1980 to 2006). Kedrosky tracks tech stocks closely but he will also post several times a day to follow breaking news, like the downfall of Bear Stearns.
