Farmer Wants a Wife
This show about urban women vying for the affections of a countryman struggled after its debut this spring on The CW, attracting only 2.1 million viewers per episode. Why didn't Farmer fare better? For one thing, it was up against "American Idol" juggernaut. Also, the premise was just goofy - even by today's reality TV standards. The show is unlikely to return for a second season.
