Many people in town support the industry. Leo Schueler, a retired petroleum engineer, now works in a fly fishing shop downtown. He says oil and gas workers almost always love the outdoors and strive to protect the land. He thinks regulations on the industry should be loosened, so the country can quickly develop its domestic energy resources.
