The CX-7 has a sharp, sporty look that it manages with minimal impact on practicality and visibility. Its turbocharged engine also offers ample, if not blazing, power.
Steering feels sharp and secure. While it doesn't quite offer the sports car feel its athletic looks would suggest, the CX-7 is definitely one of the better drivers among these small crossovers.
If you like the exterior, you'll love the interior, which has stylish chrome touches in a very businesslike look overall. The only problem is some of that chrome tends to throw annoying reflections into the windshield on sunny days.
