Highlights: Five miles from downtown, Ginger Cove sits along the picturesque Gingerville Creek. Founded in 1988, Ginger Cove is currently undergoing a $27 million expansion project, which is expected to be completed in fall 2009. The expansion includes an aquatic center with multiple pools, a new dining room, a barbershop, smart classrooms and an open-air garden.
