"We made the crank on the Solarlink FR500 much larger and easier to use than it was on the old radio," says Dan Harden. "We put it right smack in the middle of the product. On the earlier models, it was always tucked away on the side or the back. We knew we needed to bring that crank out of the closet."
Cranking the radio for a minute generates 30 minutes of battery life.
