The BlueAnt uses voice-recognition software to place calls. It also speaks to let you know when its battery is running low. (Bluetooth headsets normally alert you via a series of flashing lights, meaning you have to learn their particular brand of Morse code.)
I was very impressed with the BlueAnt's voice-activation technology, which lets you set up the device, pair it with your phone, and make and take calls -- all by just talking to it. The BlueAnt claimed to also have what it calls "wind suppression" on the headset, but it still picked up plenty of unwanted background noise in my car. With better sound quality, it would have been the cream of the crop.
