The Ellis Manor Senior Center's 89 units provide independent living for low-income seniors.

Greater Grace Temple's former minister, the late David Ellis -- the father of current pastor, the Rev. Charles Ellis III -- pushed for the construction of a housing center for low-income senior citizens.
