Longtime yogis and rock climbers Beaver and Pam Theodosakis founded PrAna in 1992 in their garage. At first all the clothing was handmade; now the company produces more than 1 million pieces a year -- half in the U.S. The company uses sustainable fabrics, such as bamboo and milk fiber. Its production methods are equally green: The Vista, Calif., factory runs on wind power.
