Investor Esther Dyson spent six months in Star City, just outside of Moscow, to become a backup crew member for one of Space Adventure's flights.
Here I am sitting at the entrance to our tent. My seat is the shell of a spacecraft cradle (you lie in it during launch and landing; the rounded end is where your head goes). By my feet you can see two "non-regulation" bottles of water.
