The Old Berkshire Mill

Crane knew he was too far down in the family line to take over his father's paper-making business. After learning the craft in his father's mill, he headed west in search of good water. He established his mill, known as the Old Berkshire Mill, on the banks of the Housatonic River in Dalton, Mass.
