The boxy xB, from Toyota's budget cool brand, offers space on the cheap. On the inside, what the xB lacks in flashiness it more than makes up in comfort and functionality. Its roomy and flexible interior can carry a family and a whole lot of stuff in comfort while still going easy on gas. In a nod to funkiness, the speedometer and other gauges are mounted on the center of the dashboard, off to the driver's right. It's a surprisingly easy set-up to get used to.
