2011 Chevrolet Cruze
After a string of small-car flops dating back to the Vega in the 1970s, Chevy has a hit on its hands. The Cruze beat out its import competition to become the second-best-selling car in America in July. Designed in Korea and engineered in Germany, it is the very definition of a global car. A Buick version, the Verano, will debut shortly.
