Dodge Daytona/Chrysler Laser (1984-1993)
Chrysler wasn't all Jeeps and minivans. As it climbed out of near-collapse in the 1980s, it produced a string of forgettable passenger cars based on the K-car platform, none more so than these twins. Engineered on a tight budget, they featured small 2.2 liter four-cylinder engines amplified with turbochargers. The Daytona was replaced by the equally forgotten Avenger coupe; the Laser was superceded by the LeBaron.
