Toyota scores a coup by arranging for the 2012 Toyota Camry to be chosen as pace car for the Indianapolis 500. Rather than be limited to a mere ceremonial role by driving the Camry on a few warmup laps, Toyota president Akio Toyoda decides to enter the actual race instead. On qualifying day, he gets bumped by Danica Patrick driving a Honda Fit.
