The iPad still doesn't have a dedicated Facebook app made by the social network. But the WebOS-powered TouchPad did.

This slick implementation of the popular site was not actually built by Facebook engineers but by HP itself to help prime sales. All in all, a beautifully-designed bet that didn't pay off.
