State GDP: $55 billion
Growth in 2010: 1.3%
Of the six states that make up New England, New Hampshire grew the slowest last year.
And it's mostly because of a slump in its real estate sector.
Out of New Hampshire's three largest industries, two -- manufacturing and health care -- actually picked up last year.
But unfortunately, real estate is New Hampshire's largest industry, and in 2010, it suffered major declines.
Government budget cuts also weighed on the state's GDP.
