Rewards programs aren't all about fun and games. One member decided to use his points for something very practical -- dental work.

He used Citi's Wish Fulfilled option -- part of the bank's Thank You rewards program, which allows members to customize their rewards.

In this case, Citi worked with the dental office to apply the customer's points to the total cost of the dental work.
