One Citi customer accumulated loads of reward points after spending about $67,000 on his credit card. But he wasn't interested in trading them in for gift cards. Instead, he used his points to take a two-person volcano tour in Montserrat, in the Caribbean.

While Citi doesn't specifically offer volcano tours, Thank You rewards customers can choose the Wish Fulfilled option to create their own rewards.
