Prep the AC

Before the summer heat arrives, change the filters in your cooling system (do the same in the fall if you use the system for both cooling and warming).
Your AC will have to work harder to cool your house if the filter is clogged, jacking up your electric bill.
Got window units? Take out the filters and wash them in the sink.
