State of repair: Mostly cosmetic work

This 1950 suburban ranch certainly has seen better days. Its siding is deteriorating and the exterior trim is rotting. Inside, there are ceiling holes, damaged walls and cabinetry badly needing repair or, preferably, updating.

Previous owners converted the garage into an attached garage, altering the home's look for the worse and eliminating car storage space.

But the home is more than 1,200 square feet and is located about 10 miles from downtown Houston. It already has central air, so after mostly cosmetic work this could make someone a nice home.
