Be willing to move
Owner: Jesse Davis
Company: Entrustet
Business type: Digital estate-planning software company

The Chilean government started a program called Startup Chile, in which startups are given $40,000 of equity-free funding to move their operations to Santiago for six months. Entrustet was amongst the guinea pig group of startups last November.

It was an epic experience both professionally and personally. The incubator workspace was constantly buzzing with brainstorming sessions and the international networking was second to none.

On a personal level, I got to travel to South America for the first time, all the while making friends for life from all over the world. I would recommend it to any early-stage startup with adventurous co-founders.
