A sneakerhead's Halloween dream come true, the Let's Play high-top by Diversitile is a killer. Literally.
Entrepreneurs Chris Campbell, Richard Gordon and John Terramoccia combined their artistic talents to create a sneaker inspired by "Chucky," the killer doll from the Child's Play movies. Campbell produced the limited edition earlier this year, and it sold out quickly.
The custom sneakers have the horror favorite's stitched skin and jeans with buttons to represent his overalls. The jeans also have a real pocket on the side. The shoes come in a wooden box designed to look like the Good Guy's box that packaged the evil doll.
Diversitile's sneakers often take their inspiration from such popular urban phenomena. This year, in response to the continued demand for the Let's Play shoe, Campbell and his company are taking custom orders for the popular item.
The company has also designed a new sneaker inspired by another horror legend, the infamous in your dream slasher Freddy Krueger. The sneaker is clad with a striped sweater, burnt skin, and a dangerously customized gardening glove.
When is the unveiling? Well, on Halloween, of course.
