Panic
Panic

Mac software developer Panic changed its homepage to an old, haunting photo of a long-haired Jobs bathed in lamplight. "We started Panic with two things: $500 and a love of the Mac," a message below reads. "We had no idea what we were doing. Fortunately, someone else did."

The message goes on to say that Panic's staffers always dreamed of Jobs demoing one of their apps onstage during a keynote -- and that they're "heartbroken to be in a world where that will never happen."
