I am not, generally, speaking, a huge Mini Cooper fan. Yes, they are cute as all get out and fun to drive, too. Then there's the "design-tramples-function" interior with teeny switches and knobs that seem meant for drivers with the hands of a three-year-old. Stuff like that gets old fast.
But it's hard to deny the appeal, and the fuel economy, of the Mini Cooper convertible. Take the top down on a sunny day and suddenly the world is a wonderful place. And with the wind whistling past your ears, who needs those radio knobs, anyway?
