I'm going to go out on a limb here. I haven't actually tested this car yet, but it's much too intriguing not to mention here.

BMW is well known for making cars that are exciting to drive. Possibly less well known is that BMW cars also pack in loads of advanced fuel-saving technology.

The latest example is this all-new BMW 3-series that gets an amazing 28 mpg in combined city and highway driving. Among other things it has a system an system that shuts off the engine at stop lights to save gas usually spent on idling.

Electric isn't the only 'green car' solution

With all the attention on EVs, we can forget that plug-in cars probably aren't the only answer for cleaner driving.
